At Extrakare, we are a leading provider of respiratory care, sleep disorder products and home medical equipment in the greater metro Atlanta area.  Our reputation is built upon high levels of responsiveness, excellence in clinical care and the professionalism of our entire staff.  Patients, physicians and care givers trust Extrakare because of our reputation.  We provide products and services directly to patients at their homes based upon their request or on the orders of a physician.  We generally bill the patient’s health insurance provider for the products we supply and the services we render.

 QUALITY

Today’s fee for service reimbursement structure provides incentive for home medical equipment providers to choose products based upon cost, not quality.  At Extrakare, we do not allow cost to be the deciding factor when we select a product to supply to our patients.  We evaluate products for reliability, durability and clinical effectiveness when we choose products.  The result of our evaluation process is that we provide products that meet the needs of our patients, are easy to operate and perform well during everyday use.  Patients have the peace of mind knowing the medical products supplied to them by Extrakare will help improve their quality of life. 

 RESULTS

We evaluate our performance based upon feedback from our patients.  Patients are provided an evaluation form to rate our service after every home delivery we perform.  We make business decisions to improve our operation every month based upon patient feedback.

Extrakare was formed in 2004.  The company is privately owned and its mission is to deliver superior patient care in a home setting.  The company was founded with two guiding principles: professionalism and productivity.  Our staff is trained to behave in a professional manner at all times.  And we expect our staff to be highly productive while at work.  The company operates as a team and any staff member can and will assist any other staff member in need of help.  Extrakare is good corporate citizen and a member of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce.
